Over the course of my years in public service, I’ve pressed the progressive agenda through the powers available to me – first, as an Assemblywoman, then as a City Councilwoman and Chair of the Council Land Use Committee. Moving forward, it is my goal to use the formidable resources of the office of New York City Comptroller to further advance our common principles. And in this hour of extreme hardship, our most pressing needs are creating jobs and protecting taxpayer dollars.
